Alaska's Inside Passage
We just sailed this exact route.
In July 2026 we boarded the MS Roald Amundsen for this same Alaska's Inside Passage itinerary — nine nights from Vancouver to Whittier, chasing glaciers by Zodiac instead of watching them from a deck rail eight decks up. This isn't a brochure we're reselling. It's a trip we've done, on the ship you'd be sailing, on the route you'd be sailing it.
We've secured a limited group allocation on the July 3–12, 2027 departure at pricing below HX's own published rates. Nine double cabins. Three single cabins. Once they're gone, or once the quote expires, this rate is gone with them.
Nine nights, one true wilderness coastline
The Itinerary

Below HX's published pricing. For a limited number of cabins.
Prices per person, double occupancy unless noted. Compared against current published rates on HX's own website. Group quote confirmed July 16, 2026 — pricing expires soon, after which all rates are subject to requote at prevailing pricing.

Why this isn't the Alaska cruise you've seen on Instagram
Most Alaska cruise content online is a 2,000-passenger ship docked in Juneau alongside four others. This is a different category of trip entirely — closer to the wildlife, further from the crowds, and priced accordingly once you account for what's actually included.
Mainstream Alaska cruise
- ~1,900+ passengers, resort-style ship
- Glacier viewing from the deck, at a distance
- Drinks, WiFi, gratuities and shore excursions priced as add-ons
- Docked in busy ports alongside multiple other ships
- Restricted to routes and ports large ships can navigate
HX Expeditions
- Max 490 passengers, our sailing ran closer to 350
- Zodiac approach to glacier faces and remote coves
- Drinks, WiFi, gratuities and daily landings included in fare
- Usually the only ship in sight at a landing site, all day
- Reaches narrow fjords, shallow bays and coves large ships can't enter
- Wildlife encounters at close range by Zodiac, not spotted from a distant deck
